Thank you for visiting!
My musical friends and colleagues know me as something of a musical omnivore. I am equally at home performing in both classical and jazz genres; working with a conductor or in an ensemble-led chamber music setting; performing as a flutist and also as a multi-instrumentalist. Electric bass, piano, and voice are my secondary instruments.

I am an arts presenter, bringing primarily music events to the city of Nashua, New Hampshire, via Studio 99. Given the shifts in the music business of late, it's a very dynamic time to be in this line of work!
The focus of my music studio is flute instruction for students of all levels in classical and jazz genres; contemporary piano, saxophone, and electric bass; music theory, sight reading, and ear training for all instrumentalists and vocalists; and ensemble coaching in jazz / blues and classical genres.
I also work at High Mowing School in Wilton, NH as its Director of Music; I direct the school's jazz bands, teach a month-long class to juniors in Western socio/economic history (as seen through the prism of the parallel development of Western music), help students prepare for their auditions for NH All-State Festivals, and organize the department as a whole.
I've written many music articles and columns for print and the Web. I've been a free-lance proofreader and editor for years, working with material ranging from simple brochures to corporate annual reports to scientific publications. More recently, I've branched out into website design and web content management, specializing in arts-related sites.
I live in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire with my husband Rob (a city letter carrier, union steward, and USPS legislative liaison to the US Congress) and our three cats Scully, Prrrrrl, and Tiny MightyLittle.
